Future in democracy

Who decides what will our world look like in ten years? Is it
politicians, powerful businessmen, EU bureaucrats? And can we
influence anything? Think about the place of your summer camp this
year: what if you return next year and find a highway, cars whizzing
on an asphalt see instead of the meadow where your tent once
stood? Some people are losing faith and say that democracy has no
future. Let’s explore the skills we need to make sure that our future is
democratic, that we’ll have a say in what happens around us, that
we’ll be able to shape our future world.

What to take:
• sports clothes (it won’t be just sitting and talking!), (scout)
scarf, (raincoat)
• bottle of water, programme handbook, pen, notepad, snack

at the programme field, exact location will be specified on the
